President Trump legalized hemp in 2018 and promoted CBD as a product that helps our seniors and cuts healthcare costs. But career politicians like Mitch McConnell buried hemp restrictions in the funding bill that would kill 325,000 American jobs, destroy a $70 billion industry, and hurt our veterans and farmers. The ONLY good news: There’s a ONE-YEAR implementation period. We have a fighting chance to fix this. The McConnell-Harris restrictions pull the rug out from under American farmers who invested in legal hemp, small businesses built in compliance with federal law, and millions of consumers – from veterans to seniors – who depend on these products. Without action, these restrictions will force Americans to buy from the black market and foreign adversaries like the CCP instead of safe, regulated American products.
